Brake Failure! How To Stop a Car Without Brakes?

If we're going to fantasise lets also discuss a situation where we go off the road at 12000 feet and are flying down below. I mentioned earlier that all cars produced from 20 years ago have a failsafe system. Of course if one wants they can deliberately destroy the brakes to get the experience of brake failure.

As per my opinion there might be less chances of brake failure because of the modern technologies.
But every technology has some limitations.

The below factors might cause the brake failure.

High speeds.
Brake fade: Driver continously apply the pressure on the brakes while moving down from hills.
Wet Brakes: It might happen after crossing through flood water.

Real Brake failure: failure to the hydralic system.

Hi Vinoth, Its a very nice article indeed. Crisp and up to the point.

I wonder how many of do some essential checks before we take our vehicles daily morning. Few seconds spent on checks on headlight (no need to get down and check- just focus beam to nearby object to check) and brake will help us on long way.
