Now surely there will be an increase in airport cab fares. Early morning and late night air travel will lead to payment of hefty sum to cab wallas! nd ya Nandi hills drive would be costlier ![[frustration]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Frustration.gif "Frustration [frustration]")

Doubt cabbies would strike. They would just take the money from the customers.
By the way, I read that BBMP is planning on an altrernative route through Hennur to BIAL which would not be tolled. But apparently BIAL is not ready to construct an approach road to this road to be constructed by the BBMP citing that they needed land to expand for a second runway.

My worry is not about the toll.
The traffic jam caused by these toll booths is what i don't like.
People will have to wait in a long queue to pay toll, which will worsen the current situation.

Exactly my point! I don mind paying the toll amount but the toll booths should operate quicker! They should introduce something like a smart card to save time!
I travel daily through Chennai bye-pass road which is around 20KMS. I can cross that 20KMS in 10 minutes but i will wait in the toll booth for another 10 minutes!
