Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has introduced new high-performance trucks for mining and construction sector: BharatBenz 3532CM, 2832CM and 5532. The entire range is showcased at Bauma Conexpo India 2023.

- The new model range comes with a more powerful 320 HP BS-VI diesel powertrain, providing high wheel-end torque required to negotiate tough, gradient mining roads.
- The trucks are claimed to offer industry-leading body capacities, fuel efficiency, and uptime of over 90% for first five years of operation. The highest running BharatBenz mining truck has covered 37,000+ hours.
- This segment is likely to account for approximately 35% of the overall heavy duty segment according to BharatBenz and the company is certain that the new tipper truck will be a game-changer for mining industry.
- BharatBenz also has the 4828RT construction truck in its portfolio which features innovations like intel-lift, single chamber headlamp with daytime running lights and parabolic bogie suspension with bolsters in the rear.
- BharatBenz is introducing “Simulated Driving Trainer” to provide a realistic simulated driving experience. It's equipped with software interfaces on Driver Training Management and eLearning modules.
- SDT will create a simulation for drivers to practice Mining & Construction applications and evaluate their skills. It' will guide them towards effective driving habits for improved performance, saving cost and efficiency.
