Best Earphones/Headphones within Rs.500 bucks?

hi guys.
i am planning to buy a pair of earphones\headphones for my i-pod. the original apple ones cost more than 1k which becomes a tad too costlier. so guys please suggest me some good ones. i need portability. but i am looking for headphones as well. the ones which are good according to the research that i have done on the internet are
1.creative EP630
2.sound magic PL11

what i need is pure BASS. that's it.

get skullcandy. it is good and cheap too. I dont know how much they are in India but they are around 400-500 here.

Or if you want a cheaper one, go for Philips or Sony.

those skull candy earphones start from $15 and moreover i think it would be difficult to get them here in india.

but i had a white coloured philips earphones for 650 & they were awesome.

Sri, you can go for Phillips Sh8008. They'll set you back by 700 bucks. I think a 200 rupee extension will be worth it. Nice bass, good mid-range too. Plus, they are in ear headphones. You'll love them. And yes, I do use them.

hey guys. i have finally brought a creative EP635 earphone set. the sound quality is just awesome and its far more better than what i had expected. its mrp is around 1.5k and i got it for 1.1k. i must say that it is a true VFM product.
the EP635 is the improved version of EP630(dis-continued)
