My vote goes to Bangalore new internation airport.
I have experience of going all of these airport personally, except hyderabad..
New bangalore airport is bit away from city, but it has spacious roads to reach there. Its new, and maintained top-class. I have seen few international airports, and i can say bangalore airport match those with quality and infrastructure.
Next comes Delhi. Its getting facelift also. So hope it will be much better.
Chennai and Bombay airport is okkishh. Even i heard bombay id going dome facelift, but i have not gone there recently.
Kolkatta is horrible.
I have not gone to hyderabad.
One cannot compare Delhi Airport as it is still under Construction. International Airport of Delhi is worst. new domestic D terminal is small but ok.
Hyderabad airport is far from the city in Shamshabad and it good one.
bangalore not yet seen and might be able to see when I go next month.
Mumbai Domestic not at all appealing. International (Sahar Airport) is fine.

I agree. When i went there (international), some flights were delayed and many foreigner were sitting on the floor. I felt ashamed. Delhi airport should be the best as most people comes there first from other countries.

Well, the departure terminal (Domestic) of Delhi is done now, and it beats Bangalore any day. (My opinion!!)
Will have to wait for the rest of it to get going for a full ranking!!
Mumbai is also good, now that they have upgraded it.
Bangalore ... pretty good, but having to wake up at 2 AM to catch a 6 AM flight is painful!!

From where you started? I don't think it will take more than 45 mins. to reach there from any part, at 2AM.

My BIL's house is near where the old airport was ... it was a 10 minute drive ... Now it is two hours in one of those airport cabs!! May not have found it so bad if I were driving ... My weekly trips to Delhi and back see a 20 min ride in Pune, and 30 minutes in Delhi (from Gurgaon) ... anything beyond that has me grumbling!!

Thats too much time at any time. Even airport volvo busses should drop you there in 1.30 hrs max.
I went to airport last weekend from BTM (45KM), and i reached in 1.15 and came back in 1 hr. I started at 9PM though.

IMO
Hyderabad- A beautiful airport, with worldclass facilities and infrastructures,thanks to GMR.Around 35kms from city, the drive is not bad.
Bangalore- Similar to above.
Delhi- No comments as it is under construction.
Kolkata- Dated design and infrastructure compared to other international/domestic airports.
Guwahati- Smaller in size but at similar to Hyderabad and Bangalore in design and upto some extent in infra.
Aizawl- Its demands to be the biggest airport among all North-Eastern airports.Modern designing and infra.
No idea about present Chennai and Mumbai airports,as I went their long back and dont remember much.
