Benefits of External Door Visors?

The Door Visors are useful during rains,as it doesn't let rain droplets to fall inside the car and it is said to prevent from UV rays,there was a list of advantages of door visors.I had bought door visors for my verna,a week after the delivery of my car.
I bought it fir Rs 750 at Chennai,and when i wanted to sticker the door arches,i had to remove it and do the sticker work.While removing,due to thick adherent tape on it,one of the visor got broken.
That was a slightly transparent and bigger one,now,I have ordered a jet black smaller one than before visor for Rs 900.It will be stuck onto my door arches tomorrow.I will post the photos tomorrow after the work.

Looks good, I think they are made up of fiber and aren't they easily breakable? I was thinking to install them, but anyways let us know your experience and post more pics.

It depend upon quality ,

hard and rigid one are easily breakable , soft and flexible like are branded and have a better life.

worst one i can give is 400/- for a set

Actually, I asked because I've seen these on some cars which were half broken and spoil the complete looks, otherwise if they are maintained, It’s a useful thing. Are there any good quality specific brands for same?

so this was the reason you were in hi tech some 2 days ago?

I came to Hi-tech for visors,which he called me up and said that you have got your visors delivered to them.When i went,he did show a sample(1 visor),which was of good quality,but,i was not happy with it,as i ordered for a jet black color,and this was a slightly transparent one.After fixing it on all four doors,i saw on the driver side's visor,which had a sticker of "TATA" on it follwed by some car name,which looked like that it was tried to be erased,and a sticker of Verna was stuck on it.
I then told the owner of that shop,the visors didn't fit in with my door arches,and it had a tata sticker on it.How to buy a fake product for a quoted price of Rs 1300?
I got fed up and told the owner to remove the visors,as i had a verbal fight with one of the partners.I then went to another shop and got my visors for Rs 900,which will be fitted tomorrow.

Phew , no one lives true to customer here , including my uncle's shop , the manger here is like that , i told him numerous times to be true with customer that will fetch good name . they eventually look into the money they earn that day.

The 900 one which you have ordered is next one to the 400 value that i said , Must be ok one. see you this weekend - drop into MY store not yet opened but i'll be there

Hmmm looking good , i have seen several cars fitted with this , this goes well especially with white colored cars!!


Most of the people are money minded nowadays , but this guy Ilango is totally true here , he has told me things which he should not have told to customers!!

The door visors are from a company branded as "AG"=Automont Gatsby
I have told you guys,it has a lot of advantages printed on it.I have posted the pictures of the uses.
I will take better day time photos of my car and post it tomorrow.

@surendar...thats a nice looking visor man....I would love to put it on my ride but you know the area where I live is pathetic....things gets stolen away in one night itself....My neighbour has brought a Palio on the same day we brought our DZire and he also got these visors for some Rs900 or so and the next day they were all gone..!!!!!

And,I feel sorry for your neighbour's visors.It happens even in many cities,but,the people who do those kind of job would be doing it for their cars,asa any one of the visor might have been broken or damaged.
I have had a similar experience with my Ford Escort,when it was parked outside a restaurant at night and after my dinner at around 9 pm,I drove the car back home and when i saw at the rear,I find only ESCOR on it,and it was clearly visible as the person who did this wants only one alphabet,and has taken it violently,which has it's paste left on it.

feeling very bad for your ESCORT well not only my neighbours, but my brand new DZire's original wheel caps were gone on the very first night more over I have lost 4 front logos the 'S' one and 3 rear 'S' logos the current front one is still there but In the rear now I have chrome sticker same as the logo. Also my 'E' of DZir_ is gone. Not only this I have lost 8 body covers of my DZire in past 1&1/2 years. Thanx that the car is still there with us!!
