Some moron split the bike when parked at RE showroom, clutch lever broken. Have to buff it, not done till date

January 2017:

First installation of 2017





Broken exhaust clamp welded. Done FOC by our regular painting guy. Gas welded.
Masked and sprayed some primer at home. Time for re-install exhaust.

Exhaust is back. Louder than it used to be.




February 2017:

Brake pads not needing replacement any time soon. After 25k km.




Switching back to mineral. Oil level was dropping. Made worse for a period when I was off the bike and a friend was using it. Only 400 ml of Motul 7100 was left after 4k km. Switched to mineral and checking level frequently for the time being. Bought Shell Advance AX5 20W40 - ₹ 300.00. Used it before, it's good for a mineral oil. Bike due for next set of piston rings it seems.

April 2017

Caliper mounting bolt went missing. Original was black. Only chrome available with dealer. Bought 2. Will get black next time. ₹ 10.00/piece
Bolt was tricky one. Head was 10 mm, thread size was that of 14 or 15 mm.

What HL bulb do you recommend for FZ? I need to go for a new one as old one has lost its power. I would be changing Mufler cover, air filter, spark plug and accelerator cable. Which is the best spark plug for FZ? Is that NS 200 mirrors? Sorry for asking too many questions.

Oops. I thought backlight of speedo console. Mine is a custom made one. Many direct fit bulbs are available, but none of them illuminates number plate.

I'd recommend 60/55W H4 bulb. Cost effective one is Phillips Premium, which is only 110 bucks. Osram and Phillips premium range is there, which offers better lighting, but costs 600-1000 a piece.

You can go for NGK G-Power Platinum plugs or NGK Iridium ones, costs 200 and 500 respectively.

They are RTR mirrors with Duke rubber boots.
