Audi Studying Indian Market To Launch S4

Audi is seriously considering bringing the sportier version of A4 in India – Better known as the S4. It is equipped with a 3 Liter TFSi V6 Engine that can produce upto 333 BHP and 440NM of Torque. The news of S4’s launch has become clear ever since Audi has created a buzz about it on the social network platforms such as Facebook. Audi is seeking opinions of their fans by collecting votes on whether the company should bring S4 to India or not. Now considering the amount of hype generated by Audi through this campaign, it seems that the launch of S4 in India is not far anymore.

Pricing is expected to be somewhere around Rs.50 Lakh. The launch should happen within the next couple of months. Infact, if sources are to be believed then Audi might also bring the S6 by End-2012.

Surprise! Audi has left India in shock with a sudden launch of S4 at an aggressive price tag of Rs.45.31 Lakh (Ex. Showroom, Maharashtra). The ARAI claimed mileage of New S4 is 10.31 Kpl. Here is an official statement from Michael Perschke:

“We have been receiving requests for the new Audi S4 from car enthusiasts all over the country eversince it was first seen at the Audi Driving Experience where Indian motorsport ace and Audi S4 owner, Karun Chandhok drove it on the tracks of the Buddh International Circuit. We decided to utilize the power of our huge fan base to gauge customer sentiments for this. We started the ‘Vote for S4’ campaign on various social media platforms and the outcome was overwhelming as thousands of fans participated on a daily basis and unanimously voted to bring the S4 to India”
