An insurance query (suspicious about car dealer)

Hi All,

Today I renewed my car insurance, but I need some answers.

My car registration receipt shows date of 25th sep 2009 (both rc and tc)

However my first insurance shows car registration date as 4th sep 2009 and car was insured on 17th sep 2009 when it was purchased.

So my query is whether it's a printing mistake or date on RC and TC was later adjusted? Can a new car be insured before registration??

The car normally is insured and has a temporary registration the moment its out of the showroom on public roads and it means before permanent registration. So yes your car probably was insured before registration.
