Whats the normal cost of a Alloy Wheel?
For Punto, i think Fiat charges 11K per alloy.[cry]. Its 98PCD alloys. I heard its tough to get in aftermarket.

I think you can ignore scratches on Alloys. Does it make any difference in looks?
Well, the scratches happened when reversing the car, and a stone on the side cut into 3 or 4 of the spokes.
No effect on performance, but they are the only scratches on the vehicle!!

Basic set of 15" alloy (4 wheels) will cost around 15K-18K!

If you go for imported it will cost around 30K - Even lakhs!

Hi, I'm new here. Name's Vivek. I've been crazy about cars since I could say 'Car'. We have a Tata Indigo TDI LX 2010 and a Tata Nano LX 2012 at home.

While installing Alloys, it is essential that you check the fitment with the tyre size that you want to ensure that the setup does not rub or spoil against the body. I upgraded my alloys last year on my Indigo, and then upgraded the tyres this year. Original tyres were 175/65-R14 which looked too thin on the 6J rims I had chosen. To make things worse, the alloys I liked had negative offset, which meant that the tyres were hitting the mudflaps on full lock. This year, I upgraded to 185/65 R14 tyres, which means that the front tyres spoil with the mudflaps on every turn. The existing set of flaps are ruined by now. Plus, the car gets muddy easily because the tyres stick outside the body line.

But I'm willing to overlook all this because it has done wonders to the the looks and handling.
