Read on other forum, that "Authentic Sources" have informed that new Safari has already received more than 5000 confirmed bookings and booking are increasing daily. thier pune plant where Altroz, Harrier and Safari are produced seem to be running full capacity. The Ranjangaon plant where Nexon also seem to have waiting period of close to 2 months.

So it seems good day for Tata. Hope the can continue this momentum for a long run.

The tournament will begin on April 9th in Chennai and will be played across 6 major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, followed by the finals being played in Ahmedabad.

I drove the new Safari briefly last week. I can say it is just not a Harrier + but actually feels much better to drive. It rides much better and is more planted. Also the extra disc brakes isnt just a gimmick but actually you feel the difference in braking even in normal regular city traffic driving. Overall, my pick to buy over the Harrier.

Tata Motors, India’s leading auto brand, today, announced one of an industry first service offering of Ceramic Coating with the all-new Safari. This is an advanced hydrophilic formulation technology to revitalize the appearance of Tata cars. Available at a price of 28,500 (inclusive of GST) for UVs, this service will be provided at all Tata Motors authorized dealerships.

Used in the aerospace industry and by hyper-car manufacturers, the Ceramic Coating forms a hardened finish that mixes with the paintwork to instantly rejuvenate the appearance of the vehicle. As compared to existing conventional treatments, this coating lasts much longer and helps in shedding debris and grime while protecting the vehicle against traffic pollution, acid rain, solvents, animal matter and more. The coating’s strong crystal-like layer reduces fading by UV rays on the vehicle. It is not only easy to maintain due to its self-cleaning properties but also helps in repelling oxidation and corrosion, thereby offering 360-degree protection to materials in the car such as glass, paint, rims/wheels, vinyl-plastic and leather. Rani Sahiba has booked the Safari XZ 7-seater for her purchase. Launched recently on 22nd February, the all-new Tata Safari is powered by the 2.0 litre turbocharged Kyrotech engine. With its 2741 mm wheelbase, the Safari will come with signature Oyster White Interiors paired with the Ashwood finish dashboard along with 6 and 7-seater options, which will come with an 8.8-inch floating island infotainment system.

Godd for him as No one can stay permanent in a place. He had his run and gave a good direction to TATA Motors design language and product vision. Now it's time for a change and needs new minds to bring forward the design language.

Now the new Chief Martin Uhlarik has already worked under Pratap Bose and should have been well-versed with the Company design language and can continue on with the work, unlike a new entrance who has to know things from the scratch. His vision needs to match the company and that is not going to be tough.

Now under his vision, a new MPV ala-ERTIGA and SUV SIERRA should be quickly brought out as they can boost the numbers up by atleast 12k-15k along with the new HBX that will put the sales above 60k mark. But they need to speed up atleast now to roll out new products ASAP.

I saw a video on YouTube that talks about resurrecting SIERRA and he says its made in 4.2 meters and its a 3 row SUV on the ALFA Platform.

Mumbai, July 27 2021: Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive brand today rolled out the 10,000th unit of the all new Safari from its manufacturing facility in Pune. Despite all restrictions, after the 100th rollout in February 2021, the last 9,900 units of the new Safari were rolled out in less than four months, a remarkable feat achieved, on the back of strong response from the customers as the brand grows in popularity by the day.

Truly appreciated by customers for its dynamic design, comfortable 3rd row seat, premium interiors, spirited driving experience and safety features, the new Safari is one of the top-selling 6/7-seater high SUV with a current market share of 25.2% in its category. They need to invest on aftersales improvement. A customer like me, think many times before stepping into TATA territory. If I just do a simple search in google, it reveals 6-7/10 TATA Harrier/Safari/Nexon has had some issue or another, which customer decides to live with, even after multiple service centre visits.

Ventilated seats to make way in Safari gold edition. That is much need feature. XUV 700 is making Tata executives remain on toes and update their vehicles. Kudos to Tata team for being proactive and getting in new features.
