Honda has unveiled the 11th generation Accord mid-size sedan for the USA market. The elegant new, clean design is thoroughly complimented by a new interior as well. And both design themes are distinctly reminiscent of Honda’s new Civic and CR-V models.

Aside from that, the 2023 Accord also misses out on the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine from before. Instead, it now gets a new 2.0-litre Atkinson Cycle four-cylinder engine that produces 201 hp and 335 Nm of torque. The base 1.5-litre turbocharged engine continues, it produces 189 hp and 260 Nm of torque.

The hybrid engine is available with the Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring variants. While the base LX and EX trims are available in non-hybrid guise only.

Aesthetically, except for its larger dimensions, the Accord’s design, at least from the front, looks like the Civic. Starting with the diamond elements grille flanked by sleek black headlights. The long hood and the fastback-type roofline help emphasize its length.

The cabin feels equally simple yet supremely functional, just like in the latest versions of the Honda Civic and CR-V. Starting with the three-layered dashboard of soft touch, a honeycomb-themed gloss black applique and brushed silver elements.

There’s also a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen on the dashboard available with hybrid models only. The non-hybrid models get the smaller standard 7-inch touchscreen, complete with both volume and tuning knobs. The larger screen also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In addition, there’s also a standard 10.2-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a moonroof, wireless charging, a heads-up display, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated, powered and heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, etc.

Honda’s suite of ADAS called Honda Sensing is also available with the 2023 Accord. The Honda Sensing package gets you, blind spot information, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist lane-keep assist, a 360-degree camera, and low-speed braking control.
