Advice on Amplifier and Woofer

hi all i am looking for amp and woofer for my swift Dzire so need your advice asap because i want to buy them today.my music system is sony cdx-gt370s (i think it as 1 preout,not sure) with jbl ovel speaker(dont remember the model no.)with front 5" ultimate speaker.

Hey Cooladitya what is your budget actually? Everything depends upon the budget when it comes to cars.

But if its only 1 RCA pre-out then firstly upgrade your HU. A 1 output HU will never provide you with the complete bass and thump effect of a subwoofer.

But hey seriously you will not get your desired thump effect from your subwoofer with that HU. It will hardly be heard outside your car. If you don want subwoofer for show-off purposes then go ahead!

Your budget is very limited. You can get a 2 channel amp worth Rs.4k. Subwoofer costs another 5k. woofer enclosure costs another 1k and good quality wires cost another 2k.

If you go for grey products you can fit it in your budget but never compromise on the wiring part. Always go for good quality branded wires. These are some lessons i learnt from fitting subwoofer in my Verna!

@cooldhaya 10k only for amp and woofer+ 2k for wiring, enclosure and others.what if i go for a 4 channel amp???btw box or tube?

JBL 4 channel amp costs around 8k i guess. It will exceed your budget!

Our member Raj said he was using tube and he was not satisfied with it , better go for a box.

i am getting jbl s644 for Rs6600 with B/W.but my problem is 1 preout.and i think this jbl amp doesnt have speaker lavel input but 4 channel amp have speaker lavel input. what do u think which one will sound good,i mean jbl amp using a Y jack or speaker lavel input???

I think only Raj or Ilango can help you with this.

My suggestion change the HU first. It is the heart of the ICE.

i am also thinkig of grey but i am not sure i its orignal or fake?

If you go to any reputed installer he will give you original grey ones.
