Lately i had been noticing that my car's tyres have been losing out its shine which was present in the first service. I decided to get a budget friendly tyre shiner(was little short of budget [:D]) and searched online. When i came across this product, it was cheap and had a good rating too, so i ordered this product. Below are attached pictures of the product, its package from snapdeal ,before and after effects of the product on my tyres

> Product Name and Model: ABRO - Tire Shine(300 gm)

> Product Price: Rs.320(original price) ; Got it for Rs.254. [roll]

> Bought From: Snapdeal (ABRO-Tire Shine - 300gm - Buy Car Care & Fresheners Products Online | Snapdeal.com)

> Your Initial Impressions:
Initially i thought that the product will be not effective and i wont buy it again but after seeing the results i will buy if i am short of budget to get meguiar's or Formula1.

> Your Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Spray type nozzle hence easy to use , budget friendly, does pretty well with little dust too(not the way to use it if you want a clean shine but i just tested it),
Dislikes: Has a strong odour, requires compulsory two coats for a good shine.

> Value For Money Rating:
I rate it 8.5 out of 10. Yes, it is budget friendly and does good for a product of that cost but i personally feel that the quantity is less(compared to the competing brands this one is more but for all four wheels it takes up more quantity).

> Sales Rating: Here in my place it is not easily available but i am sure it will be available in bigger cities likes Chennai, Bangalore etc. I rate it 6 out of 10.

> Overall Satisfaction Rating: I rate it 7 out of 10.[clap]

Nice product. How did you get the discount ?

The moment I saw your thread , I saw your location, as in Bangalore roads you may have to do it everyday.

Pradeep, let us know how long does the shine last. All tyre shiners that I have used till date do not last for more than 2-3 days. And I dont think 300gm for Rs. 254 is very economical. Is this a foam type spray?

Actually the price was slashed by snapdeal itself(there also comes discount code which reduce price by a certain percentage). Here in vellore i don't find the need to do it everyday.

The shine lasts on tyres for a maximum of 3 days while i keep dusting off the tyres at the end of the day( i guess thats all the life the tyre shiners when the rides are used on a daily basis). No sam it aint a foam type tyre shiner. I mention this product as economical by comparing it with all reputed brand tyre shiners.

Cleaned the tyres and applied the Abro tyre shine morning while leaving to Krishnagiri. Did a 300km round trip (90%highways and 10%city) and still the tyre had little shine left. After dusting off the tyres after the trip the tyre had good amount of black color on it.[clap]

Very thorough review! I would like to make a suggestion though:

Have you tried just using a stiff wire brush and soapy water? I used to use this on my SUV tires all the time and it would retain the black finish for weeks despite the daily off-roading! I had no other option anyways due to the inavailability of online shopping and auto products in that area. I used liquid dish soap or RIN, and a lot of physical effort! [;)]
Not to mention it costs next to nothing!

Yes viru, i clean the tires using a brush and soapy water only after which i use this product to detail the tyres. I agree just mere cleaning would be sufficient but i personally feel that tyres lose out their original black color [confused] (correct me if i am wrong) . I detail the car occasionally otherwise i just stick to cleaning and dusting[:)].

Yeah I know how you feel, it is a bit sad to walk out one day and notice your tyres' colour has actually begun to look more like the road they drive on!
