After doing a twist with its last launch — the 110 cc Twister, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India now wants to dazzle with a new sportier and premium version of its Unicorn, which sources say will be called Dazzler.

The new bike, will be a sportier and premium version of the Unicorn, and is expected to be launched around May 8, 2010. When contacted, a senior HMSI official declined to comment on the new bike but said that there will be a launch in the beginning of May.

The new bike is expected to come with new features like front & rear disc brakes, digital tachometer. Honda had made some cosmetic changes to the otherwise staid Unicorn and added a prefix — CB, and Rs 2,000 to its price tag.

According to a source, the new bike will score high on style and features to attract the younger crowd, who gravitate more towards the stylish and sportier Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache. Honda's new bike is expected to cost around 10,000 rupees more than the current CB Unicorn.

I think this bike was showcased in the Autoexpo this year. But to be honest the styling is not appealing to shell out 10000extra for this.

Honda has now released the "Dazzling" Unicorn, Priced at Rs.67,080 and bike is available only in single variant with Self start and Dual Disc brakes. This is what Motorbeam.com writes about it:

he company has targeted the bike at youngsters and college students and has focused on performance along with good mileage (60 kmpl claimed). We had a small test ride of the Dazzler and we found the bike impressive. The slight increase in power is noticeable and the bike picks up at low speeds with more enthusiasm.

Side profile is looking Twister and rear is looking like Stunner , the instrument cluster is also not looking very attractive! Though it seems like its VFM i still wont prefer this!

The weight of this new Dazzler is just 138 kg which is 8 kilograms less than the current Unicorn. And has got 14 bhp power also. So its gonna perform better than the Unicorn.
And the package of digital speedo, rear disc from Honda is a real VFM.[cheers]
The only thing I didnt like in this is the battery. Its just 4 AH battery thogh its MF.[frustration]
This is the link of Official Dazzler site.

The bike definitely seems a Value For Money deal but color is not looking so dazzling, like we see in concepts, or is it?

Though the colors are no dazzling, they seems like ok. There are four colors available, from which Red is too bright.. Rest of the colors are ok.
You can check the colors from here.
