Suzuki Swift has proved once again that it is the best amongst its competitors. Recently, at the 2011 MPG marathon, which was held in Britain this month, Suzuki Swift registered a spectacular mileage of 30.59 km per litre, which is absolutely fabulous. The new Swift is powered with 1.3 litres of Fiat sourced diesel motors, which churns out maximum power of 67 PS.

With such amazing proof that Swift has shown us recently, one thing has to be noticed that the United Kingdom market for Swift has much lower output as compared to Maruti Suzuki Swift. The fuel quality in Britain is much superior that in turns provides better results on the whole.

The MPG Marathon held in United Kingdom is a yearly event, which is basically organized by Fleet World magazine. This year around, about 37 vehicles competed against each other that put them through a 372 mile route. The route of the MPG Marathon, UK is a perfect amalgamation of city traffic and open roads, which is designed and developed to model the real world driving circumstances. The winner of 2011 MPG Marathon used only 19.6 litres of diesel to complete the entire journey, which is totally brilliant.
