The Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo estate body style is now available across the range. Prices start from £73,650 for the entry-level Taycan Sport Turismo, rising to £140,080 for the 616bhp Turbo S model.

The Sport Turismo offers more cabin space than the Taycan saloon, with the taller roofline providing an extra 45mm of headroom for rear-seat passengers. The driver’s seat can also be raised by an additional 9mm, and boot access has improved thanks to the redesigned rear end. The height of the boot opening has increased significantly from 434mm to 801mm, and its width has grown from 330mm to 543mm.

The exact boot capacity of the Taycan is spec-dependent, but a maximum of 446 litres for the Sport Turismo is 39 litres more than the saloon can muster. Folding the 60:40 split rear seats provides a maximum capacity of 1,212 litres, and like the standard Taycan, the Sport Turismo has an 84-litre luggage compartment in the front.

The Taycan Sport Turismo is available with an optional panoramic sunroof with Variable Light Control, allowing the user to switch between clear and opaque glass. The glass roof is divided into nine sections that can be individually controlled, and the driver can alter each segment by sliding their finger over the infotainment screen.

The Taycan’s powertrain options are unchanged in Sport Turismo form, ranging from a rear-wheel-drive model with 322bhp to the dual-motor Turbo S Sport Turismo, which hits 62mph in just 2.8 seconds. The Taycan 4S Sport Turismo offers the longest range of all, at 309 miles on the WLTP cycle.

The Taycan Sport Turismo receives the same updates as the rest of the range for 2022, which include Android Auto integration, improved voice control and an optional Remote Park Assist system, which allows the Taycan to park without a driver on board. Prices start from £73,650, with the four-wheel drive 4S Sport Turismo costing £84,830. The GTS version commands a £20,160 premium over the 4S, followed by the £117,670 Turbo Sport Turismo. Heading the line-up is the Turbo S variant, with 616bhp and a £140,080 asking price.
