Coming to the boot. Decent size. It's either 240 or 270 L, says multiple sources.

2022-07-11 14-16-58.jpg

Boot lid metal exposed with a small door. Adding a parcel tray would hide it, sadly they provide only on VXi+.

C-pillar cladding needs to be replaced for mounting parcel tray. They could've made it standard in the entire VXi range. Parcel tray kit comes with the cladding and necessary titbits, ₹1490. Might install during first service depending on availability.

Spare wheel.

2022-07-11 14-17-07.jpg

2022-07-11 14-17-22.jpg

There is abundance of carpet material.

2022-07-11 14-17-36.jpg

Sponge for dampening.

List of items supplied along with the car.

2022-07-11 14-20-14.jpg

2022-07-11 14-21-49.jpg

Warning triangle and first aid kit.

2022-07-11 14-19-24.jpg

Maybe wrong thread, still now I realized from your post!
Doesn't swifts come with lifetime coolant? I remember, my car's coolant replaced with Yellow coolant during last service (PMS80, km wise it has run less).
Is it gonna be an issue [confused]?

I too had the impression some Maruti came with LLC, but checking through the Ecstar fluid chart, only Kizashi came with LLC (and initial Balenos or Baleno RS for some time) and rest all came with normal coolant with replacement interval of 20000 km/24 months.

Still was a rumour till yesterday [lol]. New one gets electric mirror on VXi+, so one of the blank slots get filled.
You have a good sense of humour.
TBH I myself was not sure Maruti will give K10C, given their history, in being stingy and all in giving updates to cars and engines etc. I am surprised really.
And had it not been for the today's newspaper, I would have still taken it to be a rumour.

I am planning to do a complete coolant flush, with the tank cleaned and fill proper coolant fill up next time when I drop in.
I don't think there is anything to worry. S-Presso coolant is yellowish to naked eyes, greenish on photos.

Maruti is on full spree mode. Updating their entire product range. Even Alto 800 now comes with Android Auto, same Harman HU found on XL-6 (and S-Presso [lol]). They are on full surprises. What shocked me the most was 3-star crash test rating of S-Presso, which wasn't even in my distant dreams.

Quick scroll through the speedometer

Looks simple.

2022-07-17 09-01-37.jpg

With all possible symbols during initiation. One blinking dot is missing. Speed is shown in bold digits. Sadly, no tachometer.

2022-07-20 15-44-23.jpg

There is a gear shift indicator. Asks to shift up too early and following that shows great mileage figures.

After settling down.

Clock is a good addition to budget cheaper Marutis.

2022-07-11 14-07-49.jpg

Gets two tripmeters as usual.

Real time mileage.

2022-07-11 14-07-58.jpg

Average mileage.

2022-07-11 14-08-02.jpg

Range aka distance to empty. This goes blank when starting with low fuel. Gotta check whether it disappears as soon as it hits low fuel.

2022-07-11 14-08-05.jpg

Getting 18-20 most of the time. Car is chauffeur driven, so I keep an eye on odo and mileage.

2022-07-14 20-40-44.jpg

Long press while showing odometer takes into the menu. Then short press to scroll and long press to select.

Inside the clock menu. Again long press to select hour and minute and short press to change and final long press to set the time. Pretty simple and basic.

When I chose the Light menu, showed this weird code and had to refer to the manual and to my deepest surprise, S-Presso had lane change indicators. AB shows which option is currently selected.

2022-07-20 15-53-54.jpg

List of functions denoted by the cryptic codes. Speed sensitive door locking enable/disable, automatic door unlock enable/disable and lane change indicator enable/disable. The indicator function mentioned is three more flashes after the stalk return, which I miss most older cars and have to turn on again before completing the manoeuvre, and the stalk have a blip position for lane changing.

I think you can enable Tacho, I am not sure, I think the meter has a digital LED surrounding the parking brake sign. I am not sure, do you think it can facilitate Tacho?
Nope, it's just design printed. There are many signs overlapping it. When the console is off, those design reminds me of Hyundai Eon's temperature and fuel gauges.

The Headunit

Double DIN HU without optical disk drive. Comes with Bluetooth, USB, aux and radio. SQ is great considering the segment the car falls in. No jarring and good bass and treble. Power/volume knob sits on the right side. It is on the left side on most of the OE HUs, and I am used to that configuration and always mess with the tune/folder knob. .

2022-07-11 14-07-21.jpg

No backlit for volume and tune knobs.

2022-07-10 20-07-19.jpg

USB and aux neatly covered with the cap, hardly people use these two now.

2022-07-11 14-07-29.jpg

Shows warnings too.

Tried Rock + full bass and treble and it was working great. Settled with flat + full bass and treble.

2022-07-11 14-10-36.jpg

Standard configuration is two front door speakers. Rear doors got speaker holes on the inside metal frame, but no opening on the door pads. Seen a few installs with door pads cut and aftermarket grills installed.

Pressing and holding the tune buttons enable auto scan and save.

2022-07-27 17-06-26.jpg

No numeric keys for channel selection. Works with up and down arrows. Arrows work for next/previous tracks too.

2022-07-27 17-06-14.jpg

Single tap on volume is mute.
