0 Depreciation from New India Assurance

Just got my Ertiga VDI insured for Rs.15334 premium after transferring the NCB from my Maruti 800 (25832 without the NCB), 0 depreciation, passenger and driver max permissible liability.

Maruti Dealer was offering 29900 and the applicable NCB discount. I compared with a lot others, seemed a decent deal.

Taking delivery tomorrow on Dusshera day.

0 depreciation is a good thing or bad thing??

0 depreciation means that you get the full claim for replacement of damaged parts without any deductions for depreciation -- mainly 50% for plastics or rubber and other similar. Should always be opted for, I have suffered a lot due to this oversight.
