Places visited
Day 1
Idukki Dam
Awestruck with the structure. Amazing, the full view of the dam is visible from about 3km by road side. The Idukki Dam is a double curvature arch dam constructed across the Periyar River in a narrow gorge between two granite hills Kuravan and Kurathi in Kerala, India.
Kalvari Mount
A wonderful place. The view of the reservoir is breathtaking, and the entire view is panoramic. No photo or video can do justice to what we can see and experience at this place. The view is amazing and it was pleasant surprise for us all. It is a must visit point.
On the Way to the Mount
The Mount Entrance.
The breathtaking view from the mount.
Panoramic view in my G4 plus.
Ramakkalmedu
Ramakkalmedu is one of the most windiest places in kerala(Attested by the large no of Wind Mills set up to tap Wind energy for electricity). The statue of Kuravan and Kurathi(Holding an infant and a fowl) is a great attraction. The view from the top of the hill is simply amazing.
A must visit place in IDUKKI. If u want to feel the cold wind of IDUKKI.
Day 2
Mattupetty Dam
The village of Mattupetty is the house of a dairy farm, a dam and a beautiful lake. The dairy farm run by the Indo Swiss Livestock Project is an attraction due to the cattle that are being reared there. Many varieties of high milk yielding cattle are found here.
The chance of seeing Wild Elephants is very high here during the boating.
Day 3
Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) and return via chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Eravikulam National Park.
One of the famous locale in Munnar, Eravikulam National Park is the sanctuary of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and many other rare species of birds animals and butterflies. A view from the park encompasses the beauty of the mist covered mountains, tea plantations and the lush green slopes. And when once in 12 years Neelakurinji flowers bloom one can behold the blue carpet over the slopes. Due to its various attractions it is usually crowded which can be avoided with reservation from Munnar town before 9 am.
Some shots on the way to Eravikulam National Park.
Photos from Eravikulam National Park.
Return via Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is located 18 km north of Marayoor on SH 17 in the Marayoor and Kanthalloor panchayats of Devikulam taluk in the Idukki district of Kerala.

Zest was very responsive in all the roads and I enjoyed the ride and stability. The power of the car and way it handled the rough patches of the road was awesome. This trip added yet another feather to my Trust in Zest and TATA.
Arjun MP Singing off.
Will be back with new trip and new travelogue soon!!
