An advantage with the ticket for the Expo (which itself was free due to an invitation) was we could get into any bus, tram or train free of charge.
Don't have to worry about the tickets and the station to get down.
Came to know about a lake near the City Center.
Maschsee lake occupies an area of 78 hectares is a man made lake constructed in 1930s.
Altenbekener Damm station was near to the lake.
This part of metro was under the ground and station was bigger.
Now walking towards the lake.
This City is really green.
I love the pic of river rafting. a perfect way to enjoy life away from work. wish i could do it. In india its so mechanical you work six days a week, one day you spend with the family. hardly a day for yourself. awesome clicks as always. keep it coming.
walking along the bank and watching the canoeing itself was refreshing and relaxing.
35 hours a week work culture in Europe does provide them a lot of opportunities for quality family time and social life.
