Hello guys this is my travelogue to a temple called Vaidyanatheshwar(Shiva) in Talkad.

The speciality of this temple is the temple remains covered in sand's most of the times in a year as summer approaches , Govt Of Karnataka along with Architectural Dept jointly helps in removal of sand.

We hired a guide there he clearly explained all the temples.
There are some sculptures which one can't notice, but these guides know it very well.
The sand cannot be used for construction of houses.
The sand is used by ceramic companies to make tiles.
And even there is saying that no one should take sand's from here.

Will post some pictures.

oh..can you tell us that story. It will be a part of your travelouge, so no issue of it being an OT note.

The other day we saw 3 temples in sand & one Vaidyanateshwara with carvings.
This is the 5th temple of lord Shiva called Panchalingeshwara.
If you visit Talkad you must visit all these 5 temples.
