We planned to go to Wayanad for a while but last month we finally decided to bite the bullet and go
Instead of long wall of text , let the pictures do the work
And here is my Sweet Ride ( Ford Ecosport - Ecoboost )
Route Map
Journey to Wayanad
We started Early Morning from Bangalore , then being Akshaya Tritiya my wife wanted but some gold , so we made a pitstop in Mysore to do so then went via Ghat section , wow it was awesome with great roads , some picture we took on the way
Once we had settled at our resort for the day , we set out for sightseeing next day
Here some picture near our resort ( Wayanad Blooms)
Forest View - YouTube
1. Edakkal Caves
Warning : Way to Edakkal is way around 2-3km climb up the steep hills and stairs but worth it .
Literally meaning a stone in between in Malayalam as well in Tamil Language
Inside the caves are pictorial writings believed to date to at least 6,000 BC
here is the view while coming down from the caves
2. Banasura Sagar Dam
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeYsmGJeP84
3. Kuruva Dweep
Then while returning back to Bangalore we saw some elephants in forest area.
.... More might come
