Summer season is already started for the year 2014. Holidays are on for schools / colleges. Somebody may need a break after hectic work schedule. You want to escape from your routine life.
I explored the Karnataka for the last five years. It is really matched the tag line of Karnataka's Tourism Department : "One State, Many Worlds"

The below table which I created by collecting information from various websites centered from Bangalore. Here I collect most famous places only. And I could not able to complete the entire place in 5 years in Karnataka.
Segregated the tourism location based on the Category it belongs to. If you want to escape from Bangalore....based on your interest, choose the location in below table.
List of Location to be visited in Karnataka
Those who force to take the family in and around Bangalore for quick picnic, may be it can give happiness to you & your group or family.
I love nature, History and one main thing accepting the place without major expectations or prejudice.
If you are a water & nature lover... for you I listed all major falls in Karnataka.
As I said earlier, Being a historical lover... I love to view the sculptures of various kingdoms and kings. One of important which I like is "Hoysala". So collected list of some temples were constructed by Hoysala Kings.

. I had completed almost 50% of the places from the first slide. If I had to update the this thread with photos, this will become very big thread. And I don't have photos to write a travelogue.
