Decided on Dec 1st week and started from bangalore on 20th Dec 2013

Tour route
Bangalore to Thanjavur (picked father in law and mother in law
then start tour to
Thiruchendur 90 % road is good 4 lane
Kanyakumari taken koodankulam (automic power station) bad route fit only for 4x 4)
Padmanabapuram palace almost single road but okay
Thiruparupu Falls single road good

My Ecosport Diesel managed all this terrain really well

Caution Notice: (at thiruparapu falls we have no police security at all lot of chain snatchers and thiefs (seen two instances, so one should leave the place before 5 pm)

Okay let the photos talk from next post

here is the route map

at kanyakumari 5 bed room acomodation at Maadhini hotel at 2000 rupees
its close to beach and temple and all those place need to be visited

and my car meets its first accident, while on the way to kanyakumari while negotiating a cyclist on a narrow road
cyclist come close to the car on left side, to avoid him i steared right thinking the car crossed the corner wall (and thats my mistake ) caused this [frustration]
now my car is in service for fixing all this under insurance (hope my boy will come out good)

During the trip my best place was driver seat
with auto a/c set at 22 got a mileage around 17.5 on bad road and on four lane highway 18.5 kmpl with top speed touched 155 kmph and and average speed of around 100 to 110

here is the third set of snaps from padmanabapuram palace

the lamp in the picture is designed in such a way humans can change its direction according to wind direction but even on high wind the lamp wont turn its direction due to a typical kind of lock system

and the next two are granite bed used by king to sleep during summer and one of his chair

Excellent Pics MSN[clap]

I've heard about the palace, but never been there so far.

Will plan to visit those places this year.

Thanks for Sharing [cheers]

don't worry about the accident. It is very normal now a days. Hope your car will back to Normal very soon[:)]
