Around 4.45 PM, came out of the room and asked the housekeeping guy about the places.
What he told me was :-
Ladies/Gents/Children seat & Rose Garden - Better to visit between 4 & 6. Kiliyur falls :- Trekking involved. Better to avoid. Not a great place.
Pagoda point. It is a village view point. You will see same or better view point in other places too.
Sheravoyan temple :- Visit in the day time so that Orchidarium also could be covered.
Anna Park/ Boat house: - visit during day time.
So, we went to Rose Garden.
TIP:- We never knew that you can go to Children seat/Gents seat etc once you get into Rose Garden. We walked almost till the end of it, asked a person and he said - That is on other side. So took the Car to Children seat/Gents seat & Ladies Seat. They will ask you entry fee if you go to Children Seat first before visiting Rose Garden. It is the same entree free. Again - Make sure you watch the view from Ladies seat when enough light. Rose Garden : Entrance fee is 30Rs per adult. 50RS for camera.
Lady at the entrance did not ask whether we are carrying any camera unlike Lalbagh / other parks. So, i voluntarily asked how much do you want me to pay. She said ‘50’. I asked ‘venama amma’ (the little tamil i could speak and it worked). She said ‘pongo. poo kammi’ (go, less flowers). So saved 50Rs. Yes, there were no Roses in Rose Garden
. But, calmness all around which we were more interested than Roses . Walked thru the garden(park).
Some group from Karnataka / Andra (Were talking in Kannada/Telugu)
Then, came back and took the car and went up the hill. The best viewpoint out of the three seats is Ladies Seat. You can see the curvy roads from there. Sadly, we were late. We could see, but camera could not. I even left 300mm lens at hotel
The One and Only --- DZiRE
You can walk to Rose Garden from Gents Seat/Children seat. See how close it is
Then parked elsewhere thinking that is the Ladies seat. It was drizzling so allowed DZiRE to watch the view as well.
