The Ticket issued by Archaeological survey of India quotes Hampi. During my visit to Hampi, I got a sweet shock. Jackie Chan famous Movie “The Myth” India scenes were shot in this place. Attached some pics for your reference. Courtesy: Filmapia - Reel Sites. Real Sights. | Movies and Locations.
In Virupaksha temple, you can see an inverted image of the temple tower. The shadow of the temple tower passes through the small opening of wall (It’s just a gap only) and becomes the inverted shadow of temple tower.

This is the model before constructing the temple like today's Miniature Model.
I marked the model with actual construction with star & arrow symbol. This model is available in Vijaya vittala temple. And this temple has Musical pillars which can produce Tabela, Veena, Miruthangam, Temple Bell. These musical pillars were used to play music during festivals & pooja times which will cover several kilometer area around the temple.
Now comes to the Restaurant in Hampi.
First the world famous "Mango Tree restaurant" is moved from the exotic place (below mango tress) to a normal place as the act protecting the temple's moments.
But it is still functioning in Hampi.
Another good restaurant which I used to go to eat the Italian oven made Pizzas, Burgers. Trishul Restaurant is the name of restaurant which equal competition to star hotels. And I'm addicted to Drink which they make. The Drink name is Herbal Tea.
Another side of tungabadra, it's like a mini Goa. There are Home stays, small restaurants all facilities which the foreign tourists required. Totally a nice and different experience.
