Classic : rear tire : 110/90 - 18
Electra: front tire : 3.25 * 19
Electra rear tire : 3.25 * 19
Here if i say 3.50 * 19 (insted of 3.25 * 19), does this mean its 110/90 - 19 (of that of classic)?
basically i want to compare rear tire size of both classic and electra. Planning to book one of the both.
ALso Cooldrive, can you tell me about corner stability and braking of the bike after upgrading to 3.50*19
Nope! 3.50x19 is not same as 110/90x19.
Here width of Tyre is given in " Inches "
where as in 110/90, it is in milimeter.
1 inch.= 25.4mm
3.50 tyre is 88.9 millimeter wide where as 110/90 tyre is 110 milimeter wide, 90 indicate it's aspect ratio, it determines sidewall height, 90% of 110 = 99mm tall sidewell
So 110 section is much wider!
Let me tell you one more thing, if tyre size is given in inches with no aspect ratio available it probably means 100% aspect ratio.
3.50 means 3.50*25.4= 88.9 , well 90/100 is close.
You can go for 110/90-18 a.k.a 4.33/90 x 18 but may need rim upgrade
Hope it helps!
