. This is a discussion on New Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS Makes Official Debut within The Two Wheelers. Part of The Auto Talk category; No, the pics are of the pulsar only.
The KTM has a rear disc, pulsar doesnt.
And the rear LEDs ...
Where is the Xhaust ??? mono suspension and no rear disc ?? .
mono suspension at last but no rear disc.
I believe the exhaust is hidden under the seat, mono suspension is becoming a fad now a days, I think like Surfer said, this might be only 150CC since no rear disc is present.
There are also chances that this bike will be based on the platform of Austrian brand KTM, on which Bajaj Auto holds 39 per cent stake. The Duke 200 will anyways be showcased in the Delhi Auto Expo which is scheduled to happen on the month of December. So, though we cannot comment about the platform on which the Pulsar will be based, there are high possibilities for this to happen.
Thanks 350Z for the spy pics, new Pulsar thanks to mono-suspension is going to get much sporty than what it already is.Last time I rode Pulsar felt the massive low end grunt and beautiful engine growl, but felt that handling was very cumbersome when compared to my honda unicorn. But now pulsar 2012 will be awesome handler.
Bad news, according to the Motorbeam, Bajaj Auto has postpone the launch of the all new Pulsars to January and now the Chakan based automaker has decided not to display any of its motorcycle at the upcoming Auto Expo.
They might be planning a seperate launch of Pulsars as the Auto Expo would dilute the attention.
The new pulsar will be borrowing most of the parts from KTM Duke or like vinesh said its purely based on KTM Duke's platform. I would have preferred Pulsar to be Pulsar itself rather than being a duke.
