TVS Wego (2018) Launched at Rs.53,027

TVS Motor introduced a refreshed version of its Wego at Rs 53,027. Designed for today's youth, the Wego boasts completely new graphics and attractive colour schemes. Additionally, it is equipped with new features such as a sporty seat, a 20-litre utility box, sporty wheel-rim stickers, pass-by switch, and a maintenance-free battery.

Commenting on the new refresh, Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President (marketing) – Commuter Motorcycles, TVS Motor said, “At TVS Motor Company, we have brought in interventions across our product portfolio based on evolving customer requirements. We are confident that this refresh of the award-winning TVS Wego will resonate with our customers.”

It is said to be India’s first scooter with a body balancing technology. It combines ergonomic design with ideal engine placement to ensure the perfect centre of gravity, making the scooter highly manoeuvrable and supremely stable on all road conditions.

The Wego comes with the same 110cc engine, full metal body, advanced digital speedometer among other features. Priced at Rs 53,027 (ex-showroom Delhi), the updated Wego will be available in four colours – red, blue, grey and black.

New 2019 TVS Wego Likely To Launch Soon in India

TVS launched the Wego in the year 2010 and since then the scooter hasn’t received a facelift or any sort of updates which is actually quite surprising. However, the good news is that the two-wheeler manufacturer is perhaps working on a new generation Wego. A prototype of the TVS scooter was spotted a couple of months ago on Indian road while testing. Although the test mule was covered in heavy camouflage but the rear profile had plenty of resemblance with the current generation Wego. So keeping all this in mind there is a fair chance that TVS might introduce the new generation Wego soon in India.
