Re: Honda Opens Bookings for X-Blade - The New Sporty 160 CC Motorcycle

Little disappointed that Honda decided to stick with a cosmetically new bike with hardly anything new in the power train. With such a big market, what is stopping them from experimenting with new engines and body styles. While, I agree Navi was a great attempt, and did not go as expected, but still, taking into consideration their high sales, they surely have the chance to bring in bigger engines and body styles. The Grazia did get my hopes high that Honda is considering India specific bikes, but I think they should have gone for a bigger engine if they want to call the bike sporty. They also need to bring in tourers or cruisers. After discontinuing the CBR250, they have still not bought in anything to fill the gap. With the new interest in the 200-400cc segment, Honda is losing out by acting conservative.
They are going by the same tricks like Hero, by launching a lot of vehicles with the same engines.

Whether the CBR250rr will see indian roads? Hopefully they will be bringing CBR250r single cylinder bikes. Last year 250 twin launched in indonesia where we still havent got any news for India.

Don't think RR version makes its way here in India - Honda perfectly satisfied with their Scooter family - Maybe there is Activa RR or Dio RR.

As of now, CBR250R major changes are just BS4 emission/ Led Lights / - No engine upgrade...IMHO For relaunching this bike for Honda is - this the only bike which bridging the gap in between the commuter series and performance series and permanent discontinuation raise doubt to Honda's (HMSI) Creditibily for the bigger segment in India.
