| Bajaj Pulsar 2017 Range Teased. To Be Launched Soon Bajaj is all set to launch a new set of pulsar range. Quote: Bajaj Auto had announced earlier this year the Pulsar range will be receiving major updates for the 2017 model year. While we have already told you about the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F which has already arrived at showrooms, the company will soon introduce the Pulsar 135, Pulsar 150 as well as Pulsar 180 models and has officially teased the 2017 range on its social media handle.
Two separate teaser images give a glimpse of the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 135, 150 and the 220F. As confirmed earlier, the new model range gets BSIV compliant engines to comply with the upcoming government emission norms starting in April next year. The new engine is a lot more refined and reportedly returns higher fuel economy as well, while other changes include a revised exhaust unit, better seat cushion, and a revised instrument cluster with blue backlit illumination instead of orange, seen on the current models.

At the moment, Bajaj is one of the busiest two-wheeler manufacturers in the country. It recently announced that it will be launching the Dominar 400 (Yes! The name is confirmed) on December 15, 2016, a few days from now. Apart from that, it has also announced that it will soon launch the updated range of Pulsars (Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and the Pulsar 220F) across the country, possibly before the year ends. From what we gather, the updated Pulsar 150 has already reached showrooms in Mumbai (Delhi is yet to get them). The prices of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 start at ₹ 73,134 (Ex-showroom, Navi-Mumbai).
As far as the updates are concerned, Bajaj will be offering new colours and decals on the Pulsar 150 along with a newly contoured seat and a new exhaust system. The mechanicals remain exactly the same, with the same specifications as on the current model. One thing to note is that the engine, till it is launched, will continue to be a BS III, but will be BS IV compliant come January, 2017. The equipment levels too remain the same, with a part analogue-part digital instrumentation console, backlit switchgear. Braking will be done by a 240mm disc up front and a 130mm drum at the rear, as was in the previous model.
