DSK Motowheels has played it very aggressive with the Benelli brand in India. Now, seems like the company is planning more than just superbikes for the Indian market.
Spotted testing here is the Benelli Cafenero 150 scooter which could hit the Indian showrooms later this year. Road testing makes us assume that the bike might be currently under testing & evaluation stage to meet the Indian customer requirement.
With Aprilia planning the SR150, Benelli wanting to challenge the same position is understandable.
Powering the Cafenero is a 150cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol motor producing 13 BHP of power and 13.30 Nm of torque matched to a CVT automatic gearbox. What’s interesting is that the scooter is built around a triangular trellis frame.
Features:
- Bold styling
- Large windscreen
- 35mm front fork
- 5-way adjustable rear suspension
- Front & rear disc brake
- Large exhaust end can
How much would you pay for the Cafenero if it is launched in India?
