Not just the sun soaked beaches, the lanes and the bylanes of Goa too played a perfect host to Harley-Davidson fourth Indian H.O.G. Rally on February 18-19. And taking the excitement forward, the company launched the ‘Legend on Tour’ initiative during the India Bike Week 2016. To provide greater accessibility to the brand enthusiasts, the two-wheeler giant launched its one-of-a-kind dealership featuring the authentic motorcycle accessories and state-of-the-art sound systems. The campaign made its first pit-stop in Mumbai, followed by Pune and Goa.
With this initiative, the motorcycle enthusiasts now stand a chance to ride across Canada, the US and France. All they needed to do was book their personal Harley-Davidson motorcycle tours with Twin Wings Travel Private Limited at the experiential zone during the India Bike Week on February 19-20.
The festival goers also saw the complete line-up of the company’s motorcycles, including the recently launched Sportster 1200 Custom and the iconic Road King. The enthusiasts also got a chance to get a demo ride of the motorcycle, and with a dedicated Sportster and Touring section, the riders had plenty to choose from.
Customised versions of the Iron 883TM, done by Harley-Davidson dealerships for the H.O.G. Dealer Custom Contest, were on display.
Chapter of the Year: The intent of a Harley-Davidson Chapter is to ride and have fun with like-minded individuals who have a passion for motorcycling and the brand. Each year, all the Chapters in the country organise multiple events for the coveted ‘Chapter of the Year’ trophy. The prestigious H.O.G. ‘Chapter of the year’ is awarded to the most active chapter.
