The Italian superbike maker, Benelli, today unveiled a range of motorcycles at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. Though the company showcased a total of 4 motorcycles at the Motor Show, the two bikes that will target mass-segment buyers are – DSK Benelli TNT 135 and Tornado 302 – that will be launched later this year.
DSK Benelli TNT 135 aka Tornado Naked T
The Benellit TNT 135 aka Benelli Tornado Naked T is an entry-level premium motorcycle powered by a single cylinder, 4 stroke, air-cooled, 4 valve, double spark, 135cc engine that is claimed deliver great performance while ensuring high fuel efficiency. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, this engine churns out an impressive 12.6bhp and 10Nm. Since it’s a monkeybike, it offers a fuel tank capacity of 7.5-litres only.

DSK Benelli Tornado 302
DSK-Benelli that launched the TNT 300 towards the end of 2015, is planning to launch the fully-faired version of the bike in the country. Called the DSK Benellit Tornado 302, this 300cc bike was showcased today at the Auto Expo 2016.
Though the company didn’t reveal its pricing at the event, we expect it to be priced around Rs 3 lakh upon its launch later this year. Powering the bike is the same 300cc, twin-cylinder engine that powers the TNT 300. This engine develops 38bhp and 26.5Nm.
Besides the Benelli TNT 135 and Tornado 302, the company also showcased soon-to-be-launched ABS variants of the TNT 600i and the TNT 600 GT at its pavilion.
