MV Agusta now opens bookings for it's Brutale 1090 super-bike. As a direct import this bike has been priced at Rs. 19.30 lakh (ex-showroom Pune).

This is one cracker of a bike with all those 144 horses and serious twisting force! But looking at the competition (Speed triple, Z1000, GSXR1000 and likes), this one is priced way too high at 19.3Lakhs IMHO.

Though, I agree that the quality and refinement levels of this monster is in a different league altogether!

Actually these bikes are like snob value over the Japs. I mean you can buy two Nissan GTR's for price of one Ferrari 458 but people still want a Ferrari. When everyone at a Sunday meet arrives on a Harley,Hayabusa or R1. Some would like to arrive on a Ducati or on a MV Agusta.

As the name says, the bike looks brutal. Just wow.. Naked beauty.

PS. The price looks brutal too. The competition prices are way low..
