Friends, Two-Wheeler major Yamaha has been testing its MT-07 motorbike and finally it has been spied on Indian roads.
Yamaha MT07 or FZ 07 as it is known in the North American markets uses a 689cc DOCH, Liquid cooled, twin cylinder motor which has been developed using the ‘Crossplane Philosophy’ which has also been incorporated in the Yamaha R1. With an uneven firing interval, the 270-degree crank provides brilliant acceleration and torque. The MT07/FZ 07 is a little nimble little bike which produces 74.8PS @ 9000rpm and 68Nm of torque @ 6500rpm and at 179 kg wet this gives the bike a class leading power to weight ratio.
The bike will mainly compete against the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Benelli TNT 600 and Honda’s upcoming CBR 600F and from what we have heard this nifty bike is one hell of a mad machine which follows the track of the legendary Yamaha RD series bikes.
