Hero To Launch Honda Activa Rival

Two Wheeler giant Hero is planning to launch an all-new metal body 110cc rival of the Honda Activa which will not share any parts/designs from Honda's stable.

The new scooter will launch a brand new platform for the company. Its design will have a unisex appeal, and it will come with an all-metal body which is currently missing on products like the Hero Maestro and Pleasure.

The engines are not as refined as honda or suzuki.

Great move by Hero. Being a 110cc, it would not be able to compete with 125cc Activa in terms of performance and refinement (Honda HET's are known for it).

Beung a fresh design with a sturdy body, it is bound to attract many buyers surely. Maestro itself was good considering the previous Hero scoots and I sincerely hope that this product will outshine it. If they can manage a good supply and availability of this scooter, they will easily manage good numbers. They have facilities and outlets, and Honda Activa's only negative is waiting period.
