I love Shogun for it's raw power and the louder exhaust note. I wish Suzuki shouldn't have stopped (even before the strict pollution norms were employed) the production. Atleast they should have supported with spare parts.
Who on earth calling TVS Shogun? From my experience people do call TVS Max 100R (2003+ manufactured) as Suzuki Max 100R. Be it Samurai, Shogun, Shaolin, Fiero, these names are more sweeter when it is prefixed with "Suzuki"
They are ignorants gentleman! They dont know what is AX100 and What is AX100R; they'll simply say any AX series bike from 1983 to 2004 as Suzuki, irrespective of the model. Few 800s have Maruti logo and a few have Suzuki, depending on the badge. Likewise, it's all part of the deal, 4 kinds of engine embosses are there, of which the latest came after the break-up of the JV. Suzuki Shogun is different. it's a step-through; So, we need to tell ours as TVS Shogun; R&D of Supra series and the big-bore series was done by TVS itself, without any help from SUZUKI, the only thing SUZUKI done was to put various constraints on it.
