Thanks for the valuable feed back. First of all, I would like to confess Iam not the least bit experienced with any enfields. I've been riding 100s and pulsars all the time. (and a SX4 for the family time!) I opted the 350 as a new bike thinking she is a rugged (healthy) girl to ride (I am 46) and my wife like the lookand feel of the bullet. as per the specs, it is the same heart throbbing in all the enfirld 350s, and the difference is the tyre size, and I like bigger tyres like the electra have. Since I am not much interested in much bells and whistles, I think Electra is a good choice in terms of initial cost. what do you say? @ Allhyundaicars, my regular daily commute is only below 20KM, since my office is very near to my home. But me and my wife like to go for long rides if it is a good and rugged bike. Thank you all.
Good choice there! a 350 you chose but which 350?? Bullet or Thunderbird or Classic or Electra?
You and your wife go for long rides. Then why not Thunderbird? Its a cruiser and can be used as a commuter for maximum 70-80 kms before you get thigh pain(keeping the leg down and up and repeating in b2b traffic)

Do you want something other than this pic(see attaachment)? taken from TAI itself Mr. Awirsh's thread! What is pre facelift model? the colour facelift one?
The Pre-facelift model means the model which as there for and before the first five months of which the Thunderbird 500 was there. But RE wanted to have both thunderbirds to have the same design and shape except different engines. That's why this difference in headlamps and many more other accessories.
These are 3 different generations , (old to new) i have the second one and now 3rd one is the latest.
I said the one that he will buy now will have Projectors!
I didn't talk about old generations.
But I love the massive look the raised tank and engine of the first gen Thunderbird which gives thump like anything! RE killed that look and thump with lowered tank and UCE engine
