Japan's most famous electric auto maker, Terra Motors has recently launched an electric superbike Kiwami and has plans to a launch a scooter soon.
Terra A4000i gets its power from a removable 48V40Ah lithium battery, that comes with a lifetime of 50,000km,
while it makes the scoot run for about 65km when fully charged. It can reach up to a maximum speed of 65kmph.
Apart from the scooter, the company has recently launched an electric superbike, which will be India's first electric superbike.
It will be christened as Kiwami, a Japanese word that translates to 'Ultimate'.
Loaded with an ultimate battery, this bike is priced at Rs 18 lakh.
The battery gets charged from 0 to 100 per cent in 6 hours only and gives a total ride of 200km when fully charged.
