Does Pulsar 200NS Have Some Issues?

Hello Guys,

I am planning to buy 200NS but i am very confused because some of the reviews available on internet is very negative.

I heard that the bike stops suddenly on highway and doesn't start & also it has gear problem the gear stuck or something like that.

Also in Ahmedabad i didn't see any 200NS on roads ? I don't know why ? Is it has problems or what ?

If you have 200NS please share what you feel about this bike & also share the problems if it has any.

200NS is the best ever made pulsar bikes by bajaj. Inspired by KTM duke they built this bike solid. I have never heard about any issues in this bike. I can see lot of them in Chennai might be people love to go for KTM for that price. 200NS has a very good FE of 50kmpl.

I dont see any bad reviews from my friends. 3 of them having the bike and till now there is no issues.

I think 200 NS have some initial niggles.One of user review is there in our TAI.He is not satisfied with the bike.He was P220 owner changed to 200NS.I shall search and update the link.

AFAIK, this version of Pulsar is seemingly the best in its range. Bajaj has really spent lot of R&D for this evolution. Please visit this link to read more Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS

But, if you ask me, I would say this Pulsar scores a bit lesser in looks especially with the oversized tank, etc. But, you are the best judge :-)

I know 2 200Ns owners and as per their experience and the user reviews i read, P220 is way better than this. The power and performance is there only in the paper and it is not there compared to duke.

Now i have to decide between 200NS & Fazer. Fazer looks really good.

Fazer has a killer look but the bike is plasticky compared to pulsar. Better to buy a naked bike than with more plastic parts. Also the plastic parts fade soon in fazer.

is pulsar 200ns a good choice?



i am planning to buy my first bike in january. i had read lots and lots of reviews about all bike...i love yamaha r15 and karizma zmr and the naked wolves pulsar 200ns.

but i hate the pilliin seat of r15 and the bad look of latest zmr.

so now i was fully focussed on pulsar 200ns. it was all ok i am 5.5"tall and weighs 68kg. the bike suits me pretty well and its on my budget.

only thing i would like to ask is

what are the problems faced by its owners now a days. i could only see the reviews of the bikes bought in 2012/13.

pls help me guys and if you feel its not good, explain it with reasons. thank you
