Dream Sporting Gear launces Scala Rider communication system in India
The G9 & G9 Powerset from Pittsburgh based Cardo systems is a much acclaimed rider-to-rider Bluetooth communication system that has won many awards worldwide. Previously available in India through individual importers, the cutting-edge device has now made its formal entry into India with full support through Dream Sporting Gear, now the official distributor in India for Scala Rider Communication System
Riders have the option to choose from two leading models made specifically for motorcyclists – the G9 and the G9 Powerset. The G9 isone of the most sociable and feature-rich communication devices on the market. At its core, it features a unique “One+8” motorcycle Intercom which enables pre-paired G9 units to connect to 8 additional motorcycle riders within a 1.6 km range. There is no fiddling with buttons either – the Voice Command feature allows you to just say the name of your “Buddy” and converse in full-duplex. The G9 units also provide 4-Way motorcycle intercom conferencing. Other new features include Group Signal allowing you to alert fellow riders of any danger or obstacle on the road and customizable Hot-Dial calling.
Pairing G9 units is easier than ever too, all you need to do is “bump” the two units together physically, and hey presto, they’re paired automatically via Bluetooth.Upgradable software ensures that your G9 remains at the forefront of technology at all times.
The unit also offers some great features even if you’re riding by yourself. Riders can connect to an A2DP Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, GPS and MP3 player to stream stereo music to the unit, or enjoy listening to the built-in FM radio. The radio has smart auto scan and RDS so you won’t need to readjust the frequency when travelling long distances.
The G9 Powerset offers the same core advantages of the G9, albeit with two pre-paired units so that on-road communication can begin out-of-the-box.
