Trissur - Mysore - Bangalore - Chennai - Trissur Route Tips Needed

Planning for a road trip by the first week of November. I would like to start from Thrissur, first place I am gonna visit will be Mysore, then Bangalore & Chennai, and then will return to Thrissur.

I want to know the best places to be visited during this trip. And road experiences from those who had traveled in this route before.
