Suggestion For Places Around Madurai & Theni

Hello Friends,

Long weekend is around the corner (Pongal) and this time skipped the hill station. We will be visiting Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple by 15th/16th Jan. Instead of driving back to hometown (Coimbatore) gave a thought why not spend another day around?

Looking for some recommendation near Madurai / Theni.
Something in mind is
- Vaighai Dam
- Suruli Falls
- Meghamalai
- Bodi
- Thekkady
Do suggest something interesting.

add kurgakani village to the list. Meghamalai is literally undrivable after the rains if possible add Gavi to it
