Chennai - Cochin - Alleppey - Trivandrum - Chennai Route Query

Dear All,

Planning for a 7-10 days trip. Need your assistance in route planning as well as places to visit enroute. While coming back , planning to come via Kanyakumari.

Boating at Cochin
Alleppey backwaters and to stay in house boat overnight
Poovar
Padmanabhaswamy temple.

Mate I can reply you about the Road from Trivandrum to Kanyakumari. While you Reach Trivandrum from Cochin, take the Bye-Pass road which runs through Kovalam, Vizhingam, Poovar reaches Kaliakkavilai which is the KL, TN Border and then you Drive your way to Nagercoil to Chennai.

Have a glance at Kovalam and then Visit Vizhingam which is walkable distance through the shore to view the Light House.

Poovar then, you can have some fantastic Boat ride and sea food ( I have a friend there who is serving a Boat ride unit. Do message me if required).

The road from Kaliakkavilai to Nagercoil is one of the congested route and the road patch work is under process. Once you reach Kaval Kinaru the 4 way starts and it will be a real breeze.
