Bangalore To Kukke Subramanya Route

Hi All
I an planning to travel to kukke subramanya from bangalore next week. The route i have chosen is bangalore-Nelamangala-kunigal-hassan-sakleshpura-gundya-kukke subramanya. I have heard negative about shiradi ghat stretch. I also read in newspaper that it will be closed for maintenance. In case what is the alternative route. I am planning to go in my honda amaze so ground clearance may be an issue. Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi Avinash,

am just back from a trip to Murudeshwara - Sringeri, and i also heard that the Shiradi ghat road is not good and can be used only if you have 4X4 vehicle. so i was asked go come to Bangalore by Chickmangalore route, which was scenic and also cross Agumbe which is nice to see place in this weather conditions. i believe you can try Mudigere route if you want.
