Condition of Road in Sectors !

I have planned a 5 day outing during Christmas ... down to Kerala from Bangalore

I wanted to know certain route to avoid bad road sectors. I woulkd appreciate your help.

Day 1
Bangalore to Coimbatore (Evening travel)

Day 2
Coimbatore to Palaghat
Palaghat to Thrissur
Night stay in Thrissur

P.S: I was told that Palakkad-Ottapalam-Mayanur bridge-Chelakkara-Wadakanchery-Thrissur is a better route.


Day 3
Thrissur to Athirapily Water falls
Athirapily Water falls to Kalady
Kalady to Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple
Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple to Vaikom
Night Stay at Vaikom

Day 4
Vaikom to Ambalapuzha
Ambalapuzha to Kochi
Kochi to Edapally
Edapally to Kondungallur Bhagavathy Temple
Night Stay at Kodungallur

Day 5
Kodungallur to Guruvayoor

Day 6
Guruvayoor to Mudhumalai Forest

Would greatly appreciate if you could share some insights on the Road Condition in the above mentioned route

Thanks for the great no of views into this post. Will update this post myself as it will be help for others in the future.

Meanwhile could anyone share the road condition just between Alappuzha to Vaikom or Ettumanoor, thats a sector which I have no information.

Buddy I can give you information for only two routes rest all is tough for me

Bangalore to Coimbatore: Great roads, should be a breeze.

Thrissur to Athirapily Water falls: Some part of it is on Thrissur - Kochi road this is a four lane excellent highway after exiting highway roads are in fine condition.

Apart from this I will leave the rest to expert folks.
