Travel Plan for Hyderabad

Hi All,

I am planning for a trip to Hyderabad on this week i.e 11th july 2013. I need some help related to the planning of this trip. I will be traveling from Bangalore with my wife and kid.I have a plan to reach @ Hyderabad on Thursday night. Visit all the places during Friday, Saturday. Return to Bangalore on Sunday after lunch.I will be staying with my friend who is new to Hyderabad.

Here is my plan summery for the trip.

Day-1 : Start from @ 2PM from Bangalore (BTM layout).
I want to reach Hyderabad by 9PM at begum-pet. Is it possible to match the timing.


Day-2: Please suggest the places to visit/spend time in hyd. Where to have lunch etc.

Day-3:Please suggest the places to visit/spend time in hyd.

Day-4:Planning to start after having Hyderabadi Lunch again .

First question is whether is it the right time to visit Hyderabad.

1. Is it good idea to travel inside the city by my car or shall I hire something.
2. I am a quite foodie and want to taste the hydrabadi cuisine . I have heard about Pista House. It is on my list. Please recommend other place where I can indulge my taste bud.

Any pointer will be really helpful for me.
