I am planning a road trip to Coonoor at the end of the month and need some advice regarding the route. Last year we did the same trip and went on the nh4 almost all the way to Bangalore and then turned off to mysore and onwards. This year i was considering turning off at Sira and heading to mysore which would save a fair amount of distance. I wonder if anyone can throw some light on road conditions on this route thanks.
